On 21st March 2008, a CDROM titled: Medicinal plants of Orissa, was released by the Principal Chief Conservator of Forest,Bhuvaneshwar .

On 11th April 2008, four CDROMs titled (Medicinal plants in Siddha System of Medicine, Medicinal plants in Unani, Medicinal plants, Medicinal plants In Homeopathy, and Atlas of Geographical Distribution of Prioritized Indian Medicinal Plants) financially supported by MoEF was released.

On 4th Jan, 2008, a book titled: Demand and supply of medicinal plants in India, Ved, DK and GS Goraya, 2008, Bishen singh Mahendra Pal, Dehradun was released byDr. Gaurishankar Shejwar, Honorable Health Minister, Madhyapradesh at Indore in the presence of Ms.Anita Das, Secretary AYUSH and Mr Sajawan, CEO, National Medicinal Plants Board, GoI.

10th June 2011: conducted nature walk and trail on medicinal plants for ATREE students participants in ATREE campus as part of World Environment Day celebration. 200 participants took part in the program.

12th May 2011: 12 students from Jackson University, USA visited ENVIS Centre on Medicinal Plants along with PES college, Bangalore professors.

4th-5th May 2011- Presented ENVIS centre activities and website progress to ENVIS network in New Delhi.

26-27th April 2011- ENVIS Evaluation: Mr. Kumar Rajnish, National Project Co-ordinator from ENVIS Cell, MoEF visited our centre in Bangalore.

1st April 2011: Neighbourhood Medicinal plants series: 50 students from Bannari Amman College visited ENVIS Centre and Herbarium.

On 11th April 2008, Tri-murti Avatar Mega Event was organised at FRLHT. During this occasion, Shri Sam Pitroda, Chairperson, Knowledge Commission and Shri SD Shibu Lal, CEO, Infosys, inagurated " FRLH Herbarium and Raw Drug Repository building" and "Indian Institute of Ayurveda and Integrated Medicine wing" .
Events:

Bangalore Region participated in teacher's training program.
