Distribution
This species is native of Canaries, naturalized in the Mediterranean and introduced to warm parts of America. It is found in a semi-wild state in many parts of the country.
Common Uses
The leaves and root of Kumari is used in the form of juice to treat spleen enlargement, epilepsy, penile wart, dysuria, inflammation in penis, abscess, jaundice, gulma, mastitis, headache and amenorrhoea.
