Distribution
Endemic to the Western Ghats of Karantaka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala. This species is endemic to Western Ghats of Karnataka (Dakshin and Uttar Kannada, Chikmagalur, Hassan), Kerala (Cannanore, Calicut, Palghat, Tiruvanantapuram) and Tamil Nadu (Coimbatore, Annamalai, Tinnaveli) upto an altitude of 800 m. in the evergreen forests.
